illusion911:

It’s being here now that’s important. There’s no past and there’s no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can’t relive it; and we can hope for the future, but we don’t know if there is one.-George Harrison

Great sentiment… and a fun animation. For all my illusion-loving wizard freinds. Enjoy!

Here are Jeff McBride and Ariann Black signing photos after a performance in Shanghai last summer. Why spend time doing that? Because it’s one way of making sure your audiences get satisfaction from your performances.

Any of us involved in building businesses, or enterprises of any kind, need to understand the basics of the sales process. One way of explaining that is the AIDAS formula: Get their ATTENTION, develop INTEREST in your product, build their DESIRE for the product, and ask for ACTION (the sale). The final step is to make sure of the buyer’s SATISFACTION. You want long term clients, not short-term buyers. That means you want to develop a personal relationship with those potential clients. For live performers, taking time to shake hands and sign autographs is one of the best ways to do that. That’s why we always try to make the time to meet and greet audiences after our performances.

Consider, then: How can you take this extra step, in your business, to make sure your clients are satisfied?
