As a performer, there are many, many possible business models which can bring you success. It may help you first to consider: Who do I most love performing for? What problems do they have which my performances can solve? The answer the question: “I use my performances to …” Whatever follows that is the thing you can build a real business on.
I use my talks to inspire business people to learn emotional intelligence. I use my magic to draw giant audiences to trade show booths and qualify them for the salespeople in those booths. I use my talents as a physical comedian to create memorable family events. Each of these is a viable basis for creating a business…and will lead you to making all the others decisions you need to make in order to create that business.
