Speaking before a group is a rare privilege–everyone else in the room is there to give you their attention, free of charge! What will you do with it? If you don’t pay attention, aren’t flexible, and fail to connect, you’ll squander that gift. Remember, there really are no bad audiences–only performers and speakers who fail to connect with the audience that is before them.
