Our society today suffers from an extreme failure to understand and communicate with one another. Wishing won’t make it go away. But taking an active role in changing yourself, your own ability to understand those not like you–can help solve the problem. Not only that–it might just give you the power to influence your own attitudes and those of “the opposition,” whoever they might be. Mirroring is a valuable tool in the arsenal of the would-be influencer.
