Did you know that “wisdom” and “wizard” come from the same root?...

Did you know that “wisdom” and “wizard” come from the same root? Wizards are those who have power and use it with wisdom (indeed, wisdom is sometimes said to be power). The sorcerer, on the other hand, simply wields power. The sorcerer is less concerned with doing the right thing, less concerned with the wisdom of his (or her) actions.

So let’s choose the path of the wizard. Let us not seek power for power’s sake, as too many of our politicians do. Let us use our power, our technology, our knowledge, with wisdom, to empower others. Let us educate the uneducated, embrace the differences we might have in a way that can add to the power and wisdom of all. Let’s change the world in a way that will make a richer world for our children.

And, just for today, let’s begin by seeking out an experience to have, and experience to give, that will begin our own transformations, and that will lead to the empowering transformation of someone else. That’s The Wizard’s Way!
